This week someone swung by and plopped their package down on my doorstep. A mysterious package from none other than my Great Uncle Kenny from Snackachangi . Seems he has been getting busy over there, his confidence at an all time high, riding on the success of his last venture… but the last thing I expected to see when I opened the box was Great Uncle Kenny’s giant nuts staring back at me.
Shocked to say the least, who knew he was packing these? Not sure I was ready for this, but if Great Uncle Kenny wants to put himself out there and share his giant nuts with all of yous, I am not going to stand in the way.
Snackachangi has said, they didn’t want to make too many inappropriate nut jokes because they are bigger than that (hah! nice) and perhaps that is why they sent them to me, because I am not and I am more than happy to make too many inappropriate nut jokes…
It has, up until now, been a closely guarded secret that Great Uncle Kenny has 3 giant nuts – BBQ, Vinegar & Salt and Salted. No longer to be kept in the dark, look upon them and tremble as now they have been revealed and let loose into the world.
I had to stand right back in order to fit these massive nuts into frame and I still had my ruler handy from the last review so I have included a measurement for you folks to check out too.
…And when I say giant nuts, I mean not only are the individual nuts giant, the package is quite sizable too. Weighing in at a whopping 325g means that no matter how much you love nuts, you will definitely get a satisfying protein hit while sucking down these nuts.
Seriously now:
The flavouring on these is very present but not so intense as to overpower the flavour of the cashew. I liked all of the flavours very much and even boring ole Salted paired with these high quality giant cashews was exciting. You want me to pick a favourite to recommend for yous all to try? Sure, I usually prefer the BBQ but in this case I think I like the vinegar and salt the most.
Probably the best nuts I have ever encountered. No joke.
