Oh sh1t. More lumps?
Yup. More lumps. This time we got raspberry lumps.
It feels like we already did raspberry flavoured lumps before, maybe that was bosenberry now that I fact check. Honestly there have been so many lumps it is difficult to keep track. Actually, I think last time I counted them and there hadn’t been as many flavours as I thought. But still a lot.
Of course, the problem with having so many different lump reviews is that I am totally out of material. I can’t think of a damn thing to write about lumps anymore. I have already used up all the best lump jokes and puns already – so expect the worst lump review so far. I am really scrapping lumps off the bottom of the barrel at this stage.
We are all surely familiar with the chocolate covered squares of coloured confectionary, that was first made popular with the original pineapple lumps, and if you aren’t just scroll back 6 months or so on my feed, so let me just get on to the taste.
Yup, these tasted like raspberry. I was half expecting it to taste of generic ‘red’ confectionary, but no, there actually was a little care taken in the accuracy of the flavour for this one.
Weirdly, as I chewed through the sticky lump of sugary goo, I started to detect a weird chemical flavour. Sure enough nearing the end of the lump chewing experiences, a perfume like flavour emerged.
Did anyone else taste this? I have read a couple of reviews so far and haven’t seen it mentioned yet. My packet did get a little melted before I put them in the fridge to cool them again, maybe it had something to do with separation of ingredients or something…
Oh sh1t. What to do? I am out of good puns for my tagline. Please forgive me and accept this bottom of the barrel reference instead:
