I have been meaning to try this for a while now, but I didn’t want it sitting too close to any ‘other’ chocolate peanut butter products on my grid.
I think now has been long enough, so let us check the chocolate peanut butter offering from @fixandfogg – the bloke that traveled around the world in 80 days. Oh wait that is actually something else…

…well, sh1t, that was mean to be a joke, but actually, right now, here in real time, my research team tells me the name of this brand “Fix & Fogg” actually did come from the 1873 book by Jules Verne: “Around the World in 80 Days”.
Phileas Fogg was the name of the main protagonist who took the £20,000 bet to travel around the world, and Fix was the name of the detective that was following him on his journey and later helps him to get back to the UK as Fix wants to arrest him as a suspect in the robbing of the Bank of England.
Good sh1t, this is the best bit of trivia I have ever come across in my reviewing. Around the World in 80 days is a great book. Yeah? Boring? Well I think it is interesting… You just don’t appreciate the classics!
We are off to a fine start even before I open the jar and I am seriously going to have to be careful not to show favour to Fix & Fogg for being fellow Jules Verne fans.
Twisting the lid off this jar filled the air with rich peanut and chocolate scents as I stirred to reabsorb the little bit of oil that had settled at the top of the deep brown contents. It spread on a piece of toast easily, revealing chunks of peanuts. This was good. A little sweet, a little salty, very rich, but really taste was all about dark chocolate and peanuts. I have no qualms about making myself feel sick spooning this sh1t straight down my throat.
Anything one man can imagine, other men can make real – 8.5/10
Bonus sh1t: The character Phileas Fogg was based on a real person – an American writer and travel adventurer named William Perry Fogg.
