Time to try a brand new sensation – Behold the Tip Top Boysenberry Lum—
Ah sh1t, this isn’t the new flavour lump, this is a block of Cadbury Dairy Milk of the exact same flavour.
Ah well- close enough.
Seriously though, what is going on over at Tip Top? Looks like they are throwing their Boysenberry ripple flavour around. That is two products in quick succession opting to come out with, not just a boysenberry flavour, but a ‘Tip Top – Boysenberry Ripple’ flavour specifically. What are the chances of that being coincidence?
Well not that coincidental it seems. Tip Top and Cadbury are both encompassed by the ice cream giant Froneri Group and I am not quite sure how this works, but Pascall lollies is owned by behemoth Mondelēz International and distributed by Cadbury Brand which is also owned by Mondelēz – oh what a tangled web…
I don’t know, but I am guessing that it means they all are mates who probably lost a bet at a poker game or something and now have to shill Tip Top Boysenberry Ripple.
Ripples is, of course an ETA brand which is owned by Griffons foods which is owned by Universal Robina Corporation which has nothing to do with anything because that is not the same ripple.
Boysenberry is actually the 2nd most popular flavour that Tip Top makes. Vanilla is 1st, of course but surprisingly it is more popular than chocolate in 3rd.
Cadbury couldn’t seem to make up their minds as whether white chocolate or milk chocolate would be a better pairing so they hedged their bets and tried both in a marbled type of a chocolate which tasted nice enough and looked elegant enough to be eaten in the finest bath houses of ancient greece.
Inside was some sort of ice cream which wasn’t cold at all, so I guess just cream, and some red jammy looking sh1t which I am going to guess was a boysenberry ripple. I can’t remember what Tip Top boysenberry ripple tastes like, so I am going to give Cadbury the benefit of the doubt. Either way this was nice enough, didn’t get the impression of ice cream (maybe cream) but definitely some boysenberry flavour in there.
