Judging by all of the colourful, paganistic fertility decorations I have seen displayed in almost every shop since, like, the beginning of February, it must be time to try some Easter sh1t.
I am not really sure of the name of this product, because as you will see from the packaging above, this is simply labelled as a Creme Egg, which it most definitely is not. Also(excuse the brutally torn cardboard box, I had some difficulty getting into this sh1t before I discovered an easy perforated pull tab thing on the back. Perhaps my anticipation got the better of me. Again.
I am pretty sure that I know what this sh1t is because of the brilliant work by the graphic artist who designed the packaging, but doubt fills my mind as I refer back to the text. Whoever wrote this sh1t needs lessons on effective communication. As I mentioned above it is most predominantly announced as a Creme Egg, but examining the packaging further I find the ingredient list which heralds the content as “Ice Confection with Cadbury milk chocolate and Creme Egg sauce.”
Now we are getting somewhere, except Creme Egg sauce!? What the sh1t is that sh1t? I know Creme Egg and of course I am familiar with the intensely sweet innards, but I didn’t know it was a sauce… Can’t blame me for not figuring it out though, that is one unique sauce container and what the sh1t am I to put the sauce on? Hot chips? Sausages? Would it go well on a hamburger? 🤔 Perhaps something to try in the future.
This tasted like ice cream. The chocolate was decent Cadbury chocolate. The filling was sweet and creamy, if I closed my eyes while eating it, I don’t believe any connection to the Creme Egg would have come to mind. The yellow sh1t and the white sh1t didn’t really taste any different to each other. Do they actually taste different in a Creme Egg? Or is it just a blob of food colouring in there to make it look egg like?
