Burger Pizza Battle – Hell vs Domino’s

Sure, I have reviewed Hell’s Burger Pizza before and I just reviewed Domino’s Burger Joint Pizza last month, but I received a request to compare the two leading burger pizzas side by side. I wasn’t sure, but when they said “our shout” and suddenly it seemed like a very good idea to me.

Now, I am going to cut straight to the chase as comparison reviews I have done in the past take all of the caption space I have.

Delivery time was prompt and so close together that I am calling it a tie, delivery folk missing an embarrassing encounter by literal minutes.

Opening the boxes and visually inspecting the pizzas was where I saw the first blood drawn:

The Burger Pizza from Hell dwarfed the comparably tiny Domino’s.

Seeing them side by side like this really opened my eyes. Hell’s offering measured somewhere between 29-30cm in diameter whereas the Domino’s was in 25-26cm. Everyone knows how much of a difference those last couple of centimeters can make.

I am going to have to be sparse in the eating description in the interest in caption space too, but you can always scroll back in my feed a bit to find the previous reviews(4w & 110w ago)

Domino s burger pizza is a fantastic take on the American processed food style hamburger, processed cheese, ketchup, mustard etc. whereas Hell’s burger pizza is a richer interpretation focusing on higher quality and better quantity of ingredients and honey mustard for some reason. Thankfully both have pickles. I figured both have their own place in the market, but…

Glad I revisited this – unbelievably, although Domino’s was cheaper it was literally only a fraction of a dollar cheaper. $0.15 to be exact.

That puts both of these pizzas in exactly the same market, if this were a battle, and it is, these pizza are competing in the same weight class. Domino’s is seriously out classed in a side by side comparison. Judges are subtracting a point due to poor pricing.

Sorry Domino’s, I like the Burger Joint Pizza, but step it up in the toppings and size or reduce the price to compete
